OUR MISSION
Sussex Singers provides students in 5K-6th grade with opportunities to learn and grow in their vocal performance skills in an ensemble setting. Children are encouraged to explore vocal music from a variety of cultures and experience the joy and connections created through community performance.

Our Director
Amy Ciesielski founded Sussex Singers in 2025 in order to share her love of music and teaching as a valuable service to the community. Fondly known as “Mrs. C.” to her students, Mrs. Ciesielski has been a public school Elementary Music teacher since 2008. She earned her BFA in Music Education (Vocal/General) from UW-Milwaukee and currently serves as the music teacher at Maple Avenue Elementary school in Sussex, WI. Mrs. C. is also a current candidate for National Board Certification in Vocal Music for Early and Middle Childhood. When not making music, Mrs. C. loves going for walks and listening to records with her husband and two daughters.
